Daniel McMahon is the principal Location Sound Recordist of Audio Evolved pty ltd, and is based in Sydney, Australia. With over 20 years of professional experience and having trained Location Sound Recording at the elite AFTRS (Australian Film Television and Radio School) back when they only took on 4 students per year.
Daniel McMahon has an Advanced Diploma in Location Sound from the AFTRS and over 20 years of professional industry experience. Although being a Sydney based location sound recordist a large portion of his film & tv career has been spent working throughout nearly all parts of Australia and the world. Daniel has been nominated for numerous sound awards and has worked extensively on dozens of Logie award winning TV series. Having developed a passion for the Spanish language after working in South America and Europe multiple times, Daniel went on to achieve a Diploma of Spanish as a second language at a level of B2. This certifies spoken fluency and has been a valuable skill whilst working in numerous overseas locations and with Spanish speaking crew members.
